Surveying Sydney’s original large scale business park

Norwest Business Park began in 1987, when the Hills Shire Council rezoned farmland straddling the suburbs of Norwest and Bella Vista for mixed use commercial and industrial development. It has since grown into one of Sydney’s largest business parks, home to more than 400 companies employing more than 25,000 people, including the head office of Hillsong Church and regional operations for names like Woolworths, the Reserve Bank of Australia, ResMed and Optus. The park sits between Windsor Road and Old Windsor Road, with Norwest Boulevard running through its centre and Norwest Private Hospital serving the surrounding area. With this many businesses, tenancies and fitouts packed into one precinct, SurveyPlus is regularly called on for detail surveys, building and construction surveys and titling work as commercial sites are subdivided, leased and redeveloped.

Working alongside the Bella Vista metro precinct

Norwest and Bella Vista train stations opened in May 2019 as part of the Sydney Metro Northwest line, and that transport link is now driving a new stage of development around the business park. In 2025, a mixed use project was approved for land next to Bella Vista station, adding a new business precinct, homes and open space along the Elizabeth Macarthur Creek corridor, alongside the established Bella Vista Waters community. As this transit oriented growth continues around Norwest and Bella Vista, our team provides detail and contour surveys, construction set out and subdivision surveys to support new buildings going up around the stations while confirming boundaries on the older lots they replace.
